West Virginia Kids Count
WV KIDS COUNT is a non-profit agency in West Virginia that helps policymakers make the best decisions possible. They produce a state-wide Data Book that annually tracks the well-being of children to provide high quality, unbiased information and encourage action on behalf of kids and families. ASP designed and developed the website to display information about the organization, the partnerships, committees, funders, ambassadors and legislation information. There are links to download the printed WV Data Book and the National Data Book.
ASP developed the online State Searchable Database. The database allows the visitor to select 16 well-being indicators in four domains that capture what children need to thrive including 1) health, 2) education, 3) economic well-being, and 4) family and community. These align with data indicators from The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s 16 national child well-being indicators. Visitors can view a data list of all West Virginia counties or select a few counties to compare data. There is also a bar chart view of the selected counties. The visitor has options to print the chart, download pdf, jpg, or export to a csv or excel file.
West Virginia Breast Health Initiative
West Virginia Breast Health Initiative provides financial based needs assistance to those suffering from breast cancer and their families. ASP utilizes their existing survivors to spread the message about what they do and how you can help. The website slider is also used to display details about upcoming events. There is an events calendar, photo gallery, information on how to get help, how to help and contact us. Non-profit PayPal is integrated with the website to accept donations for a reduced transaction rate.
TEAM for WV Children
TEAM for West Virginia Children is a non-profit organization that envisions West Virginia as a state where all children can grow and thrive in safe, stable, nurturing relationship, free from abuse and neglect, so they will achieve their maximum potential as adults. The organization is comprised of eight agencies to Advocate for children, Champion family-friendly communities, Educate the public and Strengthen families. Barnes Agency created a beautiful design and ASP developed the website based on the design. The website displays the programs from the agencies based on the four areas of their mission.
WV Children’s Trust Fund
The West Virginia Children’s Trust Fund raises money for innovative programs in communities all over the state that help keep children free from abuse and neglect. ASP designed the website to display the benefits provided to West Virginia children. The state-wide impact is displayed with custom icons and large numbers. ASP also provided a design template for the state online donation page.
Presbytery of West Virginia
Presbytery of West Virginia is responsible for the mission and government of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and its 127 congregations throughout 41 counties of West Viginia (plus one county in Ohio). The website displays information on the churches, ministries, resources, a calendar of events, document and newsletters. There is a member only directory page. Members enter their user name and password to view the information on the page. ASP can work with you to determine what should be displayed on private member pages or a seperate intranet website.
Kairos of West Virginia
Kairos Prison Ministry’s Inside Program is well-organized with well-trained volunteer teams of men and women from the communities surrounding an institution. The website explains the duties of support volunteers, team volunteers and team leaders. ASP designed a website to encourage visitors to help in any way they can – from prayer, to cookie bakers to volunteering and donations.
Temple Israel
Temple Israel is a progressive Reform Jewish Congregation within the heart of Charleston. ASP designed and developed a website to display information about the Temple, Rabbi, Worship, Holidays, Learning and more. There is an events calendar that displays a list view of events. There is a date, time and title. The visitor can click to view more information about the event on a detail page. There is also an option to view a daily, weekly or monthly calendar view.
